To create a citation in your Google Doc:

Click tools in the top menu bar

Click citations

Confirm that the sidebar says MLA

• Add citation source using URL for website or ISBN for a book; for a database article, fill in the boxes with information requested

• Click cite to create an in-text citation

• Start a new page of your doc to create a Works Cited page
